Default N Frame in 22cal??

Let's build a 22cal revolver to end all 22cal revolvers and to show who's still the best of the best.

I say to build a 22cal revolver that can shoot the 22 shorts, 22 longs & 22 long rifle in one cylinder, shoot the 22 Winchester magnum rifle rounds in another cylinder in a 16 shot N Frame s&w revolver with a 5" under lug barrel or a bull barrel in the world famous nickel finish. It could be a tribute to Horace Smith. Or the Smith brothers they have earned it, we owe it to them. There isn't a gun manufacturer today that has done more for the gun industry with there designs in advancing the REVOLVERS to date than s&w. They even invented the brass case we use today.
But instead of a swing out cylinder lets have the old pull pin design. A little bit of old and some new too.

What about two models one in 223?

Let's make some s&w history today. Make me a s&w n frame in 22cal that I can show off today let's make some s&w history today. Gun innovation has been idle for eons. Let's shake off the cobwebs and rattle the floor boards and do something special in this our century, our time. Let's call it; THE AMERICAN 22.

I'd be in, I'd prefer something conventional ie a big n-frame version of the 10 shot 617. I'd love to have a 22 revolver with the same or similar weight as my 625, it would make practicing transitions in comps nice since the swing would be damn near identical.

They made the k22 in 22lr and the k38 in 38 special. The k22 was the practice piece for the k38. I like the idea of having an N Frame in 22lr with the 22 wmr option too. It makes sense that it would be a practice piece for the magnum n frames. I think we have a winner here.

Let's make the heaviest 22 possible. Sounds like an idea that could only originate here.
