I'd love to see a smaller Shield in .380 to replace the Bodyguard. Something like a G42. Just a down sized striker fire that's a little easier to conceal and with out that awful double action BG trigger.

That would be the Model 52, which my guess is unlikely to be made again due to low demand. Bullseye is not as popular as it once was. A few 52's were used in PPC instead of custom heavy barrel revolvers, but only after the 5 round mags were converted to 6 round. Mine wound up only being used for informal target practice and small game hunting, and I haven't shot it in at least a decade. The .38 wadcutter is accurate and deadly on small game without ruining meat. But factory loaded wadcutter ammo that will cycle the gun is getting scarce. I recall many years ago CCI changed their powder and their ammo would no longer cycle mine. Model 52s do come up for sale now and then, but they aren't cheap.

I'll second the wish for a mod 52-now!
