The nickel finish?..?..
Where’s the world famous s&w century old nickel finish?
Bring back the nickel. I don’t want a pickle but I want my new s&w revolvers in nickel. We have lost the tradition of the nickel finish. Let get the quality s&w nickel finish back to we’re it was in the 1900’s?

Bill, unfortunately, the good nickel finishes went about the same time as the good nickle plated bumpers went..Like on the old Buicks, Caddy's and Olds..Those were nickle plated, not chromed.

The newer s&w nickel finish doesn’t look bad. The 70’s m27-2 in nickel looks ok.

I’m sure some dealers have left overs in nickel.

Yeah, it's a crying shame that they quit doing the high, bright nickel finishes. I was thinking on sending back a 3 1/2" 27-2 to get refinished in nickel, but they don't do nickel any more.
I would love a new nickel model 19, but don't care at all for what they pass off as a blue finish nowadays.
