If you buy a 9mm 1911 J&G sales has a barrel and spring kit for firing 7.62 x 25 using 38 super mags.

A Rock island gun in 9mm for $400-650 depending on options and the J&G kit for $200 and your there.

Really? I WILL LOOK INTO THIS. Thanks! I assume the 1911 has to be the same size frame as a .45 ACP?

Won't fit Rock Island 1911's but I emailed the link to a gunsmith I know.

J&G Sales 7.62x25 Tokarev Barrel Kit, 6", For 1911 Wilson, Kimber, Springfield in 9mm or 38Super. New.

The tokarev handles the 7.62x25 round really well.

I have plenty of 7.62x25 and 9mm largo ammo.
