I would like to see a medium frame revolver with a longer barrel of 4"or more capable of taking full moon clips. Like the 547 but with clip capability. So cheapskates like me can pickup 9mm luger brass from the range and take them home for reloading and have a gun for usable target work.

I'd be happy to find a 547.

charter arms is suppose to be offering new revolvers in 9mm, 40 and 45 acp that do not need moon clips. going to have to buy one when they hit retail.

The old Ruger Security Six was offered in 9mm. It used moon clips.

It took ten years to talk a friend out of a 547, he had more than one. i wanted to experiment loading wadcutters. I have it worked out. not easy but interesting in that tapered case. i am tired of moon clips. i have had 357/40/10mm/acp/ etc with moons . the 547 works, and with wadcutters !

I just love auto cartridges in revolvers especially the 9mm. I admit I'm a scrounge and why not reload all those ejected semi's cases, you can save money and you'll shoot more in the long run. Many companies have and still offer 9mm wheelguns including Smith & Wesson currently. But I don't want no belly gun. Give me a 4" at least, some adjustable sights possibly on the medium frame and there you go.
