Default 44 Mag Semi-Auto

Now that Smith has introduced a gas operated M&P, we need to start e mailing to get them to scale it up and chamber it in 44 Magnum, ala' the Desert Eagle. Maybe they could revive the 44 Auto Mag if they don't want to fool around with the 44 Mag rim. Sort of an M&P X frame.

There is a new Automag company already in operation and are producing new guns as we speak...and reports are they're of excellent quality.

My two original, low number Auto Mags...

Only problem with gas guns is you can't use cast bullets. I already have a Ruger 44 carbine.

Reports I’ve seen is that they’re ready to run perfectly right out of the box.

They supposedly do run better than the originals. There were quite a few improvements concerning reliability and longevity.

Unfortunately even Dirty Harry couldn’t do for the AutoMag what he did for the 29. I think they were already out of business when the movie came out. The history of the AutoMag is everything not to do when starting a business.

I have a bad feeling about this new company making the Auto Mag. They've collected a lot of $$$$$$$$$ and now say they can't build guns in the state they are in and are moving to one of the New England States where they expect to deliver all back ordered guns by end of February.
Sorry to say, it feels to me like an impending bankruptcy and bye bye to all of our $$$$$. I hope I'm wrong.

Admin & mods, if my post is out of line or breaks a rule, let me know and I'll remove it.

These have all come from the New Auto Mag Co. and they are finished beautifully. It did take a long wait but they came through.

Those look quite nice, thanks for posting them. It provides some relief on the way I've been feeling.

Interesting. The design looks like a scaled up Ruger Mk IV.

So while we're talking about wishes, maybe one of the big boys, think CZ, could buy out Auto Mag and use their manufacturing capacity to crank some of them out. I'd buy one.

The New Auto Mag Co. is still in business, just moving and turning production and marketing over to new Management People.

The Old Management was anable to get production up to the capacity needed. What the outcome of these changes will bring is still up in the air.

Here is an announcement.

STRYK Group USA and Angled Spade Technologies Have Been Engaged by Auto Mag, LTD. CO., For Industry Expertise | FOG HORN
