I have a question. I'm SCWA member 2105, and I am barred from the member's forum. Is this because I own some Rugers?

Absolutely.
You will need a waiver from Roy and a dispensation from The Pope.

Default Woe Is Me

I don't know anyone in the SWCA? I have a few S&W's, I'm retired,
I have a dog, I've been shooting for 50+ years and I like all guns.
Is that enough to get in?

Talk to some members in the gun threads, and it should not be hard to find a sponsor.
In other words, get to know the members you see here on the board.

Love to. How do we know who the SWCA members are?

Wait a minute, what was it Groucho Marx said about clubs?

I believe Groucho did have a good point there. S&WCA members will have the association badge next to their forum names and "SWCA Member" underneath.

Thanks

As far as looking for a sponsor. Does the SWCA meet at any of the shows, where we can meet members? I am in the Colorado Gun Collectors Assn. We run a pretty nice show in the Denver area. Some of the Cowboy shooters here probably know or heard of my folks. Mom and dad came up with the idea that became SASS and dad did all the art work and props (although a guy with badge number 1 takes credit for coming up with idea).
