Well I got lucky. I filed a complaint with Paypal and they responded by giving me a refund. They said I will receive the refund in 3 -5 business days.

Needless to say I feel very foolish for falling for such obvious scam.

Yeah! Good news!
When I posted my earlier reply, I had hoped that Paypal would step in for having someone not only violating their user policy but also for running the scam.
Thanks for posting here so we could all learn from this incident.
It seems like there’s no shortage of ways for scammers to try and trick us!

Don’t feel bad, I almost fell for it. The ad was on Facebook and I started to click on it but that little bell went off in my head because the graphics didn’t look quite right. I did a search on it and saw a few posts on various forums of people getting scammed by this site. We’re all looking for a good deal to satisfy our pewpew habit, which makes us susceptible.

That scam site pops up on Facebook all the time, and I report it as a scam to Facebook every time. The first time, Facebook took it down. But every other time, they tell me they’ve reviewed it, there’s no issue, and they leave it up. Facebook sucks.

The fake URL, the stupid low prices, and the fact that there are no guns for sale should be a dead giveaway that the website is fake.

For any web based business, run away if you can’t pay with a credit card.

I see this ad on Facebook a lot.
Do what I do.
Report it with the full knowledge that some cupcake with plaid dyed hair with have to review the ad, cry, seek therapy and have a personal crisis with the process.

I went to the website to check it out and noticed afterward that it left cookies in my browser from "palmettoshop.com" which I deleted. Palmetto State Armory's cookies are "palmettostatearmory.com".

Does this look legit? It has Palmetto State Armory logo. Prices are ridiculously low. I brought some using Paypal which says I paid “Iginia Sacchet“. Her Facebook page is in Spanish. So did I get suckered?

Sorry but you most definitely got scammed if you ordered from that site. I saw something similar to that on Facebook

Total scam! Both my son and I got caught up in it. Just couldn’t resist the low pricing!
Thank God I paid for it through PayPal.
