Ruger 57 Safety Recall

Ruger has issued a recall for a potentially small number of Ruger 57 pistols. The issue surrounds the right side safety lever, which apparently may visually appear to be engaged, but not actually be engaged. Here is a link to the inspection procedure, which you really should be doing regularly anyway.

My pistol was within the recall serial number range, but function checks perfectly. Love that thing . . .

Mine checks out OK also.

It is an extremely accurate gun and I shot the highest qualification course score I've ever shot with it. Almost aced the course of fire. Only issue is 25 yards prone.

Hard hitting and close to zero recoil.
