Looking for excellent condition CS45, prefer stainless. Must be traditional DA/SA mechanism. Please reply via pvt msg this forum. Thanks.

Hi they have just what you want on Guns America being offered with 2 mags for 565 dollars by Robertson Trading Post.If you go to MidwayUSA — Shooting Supplies, Reloading, Gunsmithing, Hunting, Ammunition, Gun Parts & Rifle Scopes you can buy extra mags and parts that are genuine S+W for less than S+W charges on their site.Hope this helps.....God Bless.....Mike

Thanks Mike, I saw those listed but they are (unfortunately for me) all DAO. Let me know if you know of or see any that aren't. Thanks.

Jeff,

I've looked those auctions over and noticed there is a discrepancy between the photos and the guns. In fact there is a contradictory statement made about the gun in the auction description:

"This is a special Double Action Only variant, special order Law Enforcement. Hammer is bobbed, and decocker lever is ambidextrous"

If it was DAO it wouldn't have a decocking lever, ambi or not. The photos of their guns are all TDA and not DAO. The confusion seems to stem from the fact that these guns return the decoking lever back to the ready to fire position after you actuate it.

The AA reference must be Auction Arms. They have one up right now with excellent photos inside and out. It too has the LE decocking lever.

I suspect this isn't difficult to reverse if you don't like it and S&W would probably be happy to remove the unwanted feature for a fee.

inboost----thanks for your reply. Had the same thought as you to perhaps buy a DAO and send it to S&W for conversion. They estimate cost to be $125, by the time I add $15-20 shipping each way my costs are up around $165 so would rather find CS thats DA/SA already. Will keep looking. Thanks again for the suggestion.
