I'm lazy. I should have looked at these sites. So thanks, Civil1977 and Hawkeye10. I appreciate your help.
To tell you the truth, this is the fifth Model 52-2 that I've owned since 1989. Every time, I've sold the gun, and then regretted it. Most recently, I let a nice one go to mmande on this forum. This one, A4890xx, I'm a'keepin'. I've shot a lot of high-end semi-autos (Hammerlis, custom bullseye 1911s, etc., etc.) and IMHO at 25 meters the Model 52-2 is the best serious target pistol ever made with the possible exception of the Hammerli 208s. David Sams, former head of the AMU's gunsmithing operation and the man who made the M9 into a competition pistol, is also making competition 9mms on the 1911 pattern that will shoot 50-yard 10-shot groups of just over (1.08, I think) one inch, that, like his centerfire competition M9s, have really nice triggers. But for me, nothing will ever surpass the lovely trigger of a 52-2.
And, to tell you the truth, there's something about that 148 grain wadcutter revolver round that appeals to me. I've got 5,000 rounds of factory Federal, Remington, and Winchester stashed, and I am going to give this puppy a workout!
