Default WTB Original Stock for a model 1500

Dad gave me this gun, it was my grandfathers....mounted up a new scope, was sighting it in and the stock cracked right behind the area thats beveled for the bolt to slide through....I'd like to find a replacement stock.....found out the screws that come up through the bottom of the rifle into the reciever to hold it all together were a bit loose....never had this happen before....Im pretty upset about it cracking and I like the feel of that stock....no real way to fix it and make it look right.....let me know what you have or where to find one.

I have a brand new synthetic stock for your gun sill in it's box, I would sell you if you were interested in it.

The 1500 is the exact same gun as the Howa 1500, and the current Weatherby Vanguard (they are all made in Japan by Howa, and on the same equipment), so maybe you could find a wood stock from one of those if that's your preferrence.

If you are interested in the synthetic one I have, PM me and we can discuss it.

Thanks for the offer of the Syn stock....I love the look of the Walnut. I actually just learned all about it being built by HOWA after getting shown this forum....got lots of info on recalls, where it was build, whats the same, etc....its a great site....kinda strict from the mods over a small mistake....I looked 5 times and didnt see my listing, so I relisted and got warned....came back...guess time number 6 was the winner to find it.....
