skeete, I do not know what price range you are looking for, but here is my comment. I purchased a S & W 396 with a 3 3/16 barrel a few weeks ago and started looking for a holster. With that odd barrel length and the fact is was only made for 3 or 4 years, the choices out there are not very much. I found this web site in my search for holster options and also found a lot of comments about Lobo leathers, being a guy named Ray in Co who is a one man operation in custom holster. I am on the list for one of his enhanced pancake designs and should receive the holster in a few weeks. After looking at cost of new, on the shelf design vs a custom made holster and the many great comments about Lobo (Ray's) work, I am very excited about receiveing a custom make holster in a few weeks. check out his website, you will be suprised at the price he gets for custom made work. I did not look it up but a search here for Lobo should turn up a quick link to click onto. It appears his new for 2010 enhanced pancake design has made a great improvment for this design. Just my 2 cents worth.
