From the serial #K209823 on the box it looks to me it's a 53 if you are interested in this one let me know. There is a stain on the inside but it does not go through. The corners are very solid just a few normal handling marks overall a great vintage box. It has the Nox-Rust wax paper also. Here are some pics

I have a gold box for a K-38 MASTERPIECE ,SN. 140836 . Box shows some wear and has some rust spots on the metal edge corners . Overall it is solid and presentable ,I would rate it as good to very good I can email pix if interested --50 bucks shipped --Regards, Bart
