I am putting together a display case for the family of one of my special ops team members killed in action. I live on a small disability check and can't afford much, but I need to find a S&W model 15, 38 combat masterpiece with the USAF stamp. Condition is not an issue since it is only for display, I can have it re-blued if needed. Did they make one with USAF on it?

It's been over 40 years. I don't remember that the ones we were issued with survival gear in SEA actually had USAF on them. Seems to me that it was: U.S. Government - maybe: Property of US Govt. something along those lines.
