WTB S & W Screwdriver...
I FOUND WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR.......THANKS..... I know this is probably a long shot, but I thought I would try it anyway. I am looking to BUY a S&W Screwdriver from the 1970's. This is the one they used to put in their cleaning kits they gave with the gun. This screwdriver is different than the ones they furnished later on because it has STIPPLING ON THE HANDLE. If anyone would happen to have an exra one they are wanting to help me out with, please send me a message. THANKS....................CookE

I don't think I have ever seen the screwdriver that you want. All of my 1970's screwdrivers are just the standard fluted ones. Can you post a picture of what you want?

Actually I had another one of those "SENIOR MOMENTS". I described it as a screwdriver with a "STIPPLING" handle, when in fact it is a screwdriver with a "KNURLED" handle. After I posted the ad I did a search on this site and found some old posts about them. When I saw the price they were bringing I almost died. I can't even imagine how many of those I gave away to buddies over the years so they wouldn't keep asking to borrow mine at the range. I was hoping to find a buddy out there that would like to just give me one so I don't have to bother anyone, but I think the odds of that happening are VERY SLIM TO NONE............THANKS..........CookE

Screwdriver...........
Thanks for the help. I found some. For anyone looking for S&W screwdrivers hang on because they are not "CHEAP". Really can't understand why. I used to give them away to friends and neighbors....................THANKS........
