I know this is a S&W forum (I own some myself), but I'm looking for a blued or stainless Ruger MK II (not the 22/45 model) to use as the platform for a project gun. I happen to prefer the MK II over the MK III because of the placement of the mag release. I don't care what type of barrel or sights are on it. But I do have some requirements:
1) Must be mechanically perfect and fully functional.
2) Cosmetically, must be decent. Doesn’t have to be perfect, but no beaters, truck guns, etc.
3) Must be in “stock” condition - no replacement parts, no trigger jobs, no work done on it, by you or anyone else.
4) Must be reasonably priced. Just because these aren’t made anymore doesn't make them a “classic.” It's a MK II, not a Colt Python. So please price it fairly and accordingly.
5) Photos will be required if we come to an agreement on a deal.
