I traded for a S&W Model 19 last weekend. It does not have the sight assembly. WTB usable condition at a reasonable price.

Sir - FYI, the older M19 had 2 different rear sight assy - one fits the 2 1/2 inch bbl and the other fits the 4 and 6 inch bbl. They are not interchangeable. Short base is #5564 and long base is #5786.

The Model 19 I have has a 4 inch barrel and model is 19-3 and serial no. K99xxxx. Thanks for the information. Any help finding one would be appreciated.

Check ebay. There were a couple of K Frame sights listed on there the other day. I believe there were 2 seperate listings for factory sights and one for a Millett. I can't remember what they had for prices.
