Default WTB S&W Model 52 Magazine

Looking to buy a magazine for my S&W 52. I would prefer one with the metal follower.

Thanks!

Default M52 Mag?

What prices have you seen the magazines with metal follower sell for?

Default M52 mags

I have several M52's and mags are not easy to find....especially with metal followers!
If you see them....buy them!
I will check my inventory and see if I have any I can spare.
I am sure I paid over $50 for the last one I found and that had a plastic follower.
Tom

Default S&W 52 Mags

S&W had 52 mags for sale on their website the last time I checked. I seriously doubt that the followers were metal. In fact, I cannot recall ever seeing one, but then again I do not pretend to be an expert on the topic.

I would say over half of my M52 mags have the early metal follower....similar to those of the M41.
The new ones would all be plastic followers.

If you get them from s&w they will have to be hand fitted to your gun.I sent mine off and they received it on 9/30/11...and they still have it.

I've never heard of fitting being needed but a slight adjustment to the feed lips is fairly common.
