Default Scar 17s or an AR .308 Platform

I am looking to buy a NEW, Scar 17S.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Any idea what they sell for? Also, is there any chance on getting one before the "bans"?

Or if a Scar is not possible, anyone know of a business that has a AR .308 platform in stock?

Thanks guys!

Hopefully this is viewed as useful info for your post and not just a comment. if not, i apologize in advance.

I have been waiting for my 17 for about 3 months. It is supposed to be here in the next 2 weeks, but that is through their LE program and an LE dealer / distributor. He has no ETA at all for the non LEO side of his store. The last ones he had on the retail side went for $3300 and the last one I saw sell ANYWHERE was last week and some dummy paid $5k for a new one. LE prices went up $100 on 1/1 I am being told. If it were not for LE pricing, I would be out of the market.

There is no difference in the LE / civ guns, but the serial number ranges are different for federal tax purposes from what I a pm told, and the LE ones only come through LE dealers and distributors. This guy gets them from two different channels for the two sides of his store, and the civ side is dry as a bone for both the 16 and 17.
