FOUND-Thanks Everybody WTB Top Side Plate Screw
I recently purchased a .38 M&P Mod. 1902 1st change. I am in need of the top side plate screw, near the hammer. Blue or Nickle, the gun is nickle, it doesn't matter. If you have somthing that will work let me know.
Thanks

Upper Side Plate Screw
I've posted this before, some time back I acquired a pre-M-18 that was missing that same screw (Blue). I called S&W and asked about the screw, they had them for the Classic Models which they are or were producing. Try calling 1-800-331-0852 (S&W Customer Service) and inquire about the availability of this screw.

If they don't have one, there are some on ebay right now. They are coated with some kind of matte finish that needs to be removed with acetone. They work perfectly. I bought several. They're 4 bucks each as I recall.

The upper screw is 4x48. I think you're talking about the other side-plate screws that changed from .122x44 to .125x44 in 1942 to be in line with standard sizing.
