WTB: S&W 681
Looking to buy a 4" 681-3 for nightstand duty. Being police department or other agency marked is a plus as I find it interesting, especially the Ohio State Highway Patrol (great logo). Box and papers not required but would be a nice bonus. Willing to spend up to $800 for the perfect gun. I can pay with Paypal or USPS money order, although one would take longer.
I am not interested in a 581 (nickel or blue), 586, or 686.
Thanks for looking!!
Edit: revised listing.

Bump. Someone buy one at one of those police sales a while back and don't use it? I'm interested!

Bump. You have too many Smiths already. May as well let one go to make more room in the safe for that gun you just picked up over the weekend. Hah!

Bump! Doesn't have to be in perfect shape, but decent shape. The better the shape, the better the price. 681-3 though.
Ediy: Updated maximum price I'm looking to spend.

Bump! I also upped my maximum amount I'd pay for the ideal gun. No museum pieces but a good quality 681-3.

Bump. If you run across one at a shop or know somebody with one that might be interested in selling, I would appreciate any help getting in contact.

I hear stories about lands where 681s are plentiful and prices are a flash back to years gone by. If you live in such a place and want to sell a 681-3, please let me know. Not everywhere is as S&W bountiful as your part of the world.
In other words: bump!

I have a -1 that I'll consider selling. It's Gwinnett Co PD (Georgia) marked. PM me your email and I'll send you some pics.

Still looking for that elusive 681-3, without import marks. It's a tall order since no one seems to want to sell them, but if somebody decides they need something else in their collection instead, maybe we can work to free up some funds for you.

681
I have a 681-3 that may interest you. It is stamped SANTA ANA P.D. It has rubber Hogue combat grips. It appears that it was carried, but not fired much. That's the good news. The bad news is I need $700 shipped to the lower US.
If you're interested, call or email me. I live in Tennessee.
