What do I want. This is in descending order of preference.
1. September 26 1949
2. September 1949
3. January to September 1949. I was in process.
4. Anytime in 1949

I like the K38 Masterpiece. Or the K 38 Combat Masterpiece. Either of those in Excellent condition would work. I think any of the K Masterpiece revolvers would do. Actually I don't care but I want in good enough condition to shoot.

Do I want a collectable. It's ok if you don't mind knowing I will shoot it, but take care of it. If it is the 44 special of 1926 then it may have to be a little further down the condition scale for me to afford it.

I am open to most anything as long as it is not totally worn out. That is not what I am looking for but may have to settle for temporarily. I had rather spend a little more up front than have to take it to a gunsmith right off the bat.
No I'm not interested in restoring a gun, but I am ok with honest wear and tear.

I don't have to wait until my birthday. If I get the gun it will be my birthday everytime I pick it up.
