Default WTB: An old S&W or Colt revolver for gunsmith training

Hello, I am learning and improving my revolver-smithing skills through self and online training. My interests are early S&W's and Colts.

I am looking for broken, well worn, in need of repair / big or small, S&W's or Colts... preferably early, hand ejector era or later. Nothing past the 60's interests me much for training purposes.

If you have a S&W or Colt "beater" revolver you'd like to find a good home for, please contact me. I am not flipping these for cash. The last two I have restored - from frozen, rust-bucket condition were '05 HE's, I passed along to son and nephew so they can enjoy our hobby and appreciate the quality of early, well made firearms.

I have not gotten into bluing, but am making good headway on action/timing work and restoration.

Thanks! I have a C&R, working on my FFL01 and setting up as an LLC.
