I am not sure how successful this post will be, but.............
I need two or three red .357 cylinder protectors. The are for two collector quality revolvers. I believe that the original purpose was to protect the revolver during dry firing or unintended falling of the hammer. I have seen them described as "dry fire rings".
These "dry fire rings" are for the protection of the cylinder and firing pin. The rings are intended to snap, and snap over and over again. However, they will break, which is what they are intended to do.
