Hey guys one of the new guys here. Was wondering what this gun is worth in near excellent condition? Bought one about 2yrs ago and can't find a listing in any of the blue books for a model 29 with the scopes ring cut outs on the brl. Also, anybody know where to get the rings for this thing, will any rings work? * Oh, I paid about 500 for it at a dealer!

I believe that Millet made the rings for Smith & Wesson so try contacting them about rings. The M29's and M629 with the barrel rib cut for scope rings did not come from the factory with Hogue grips but rather Square Butt Combat grips with finger grooves made of GA.
