WTB maroon hinged box for 1939 nickeled M&P 4"
I have a beautiful 1939 nickeled 4-inch Military and Police that is just crying out for a period-matching factory box to keep it in. Please PM me if you have one or know of one that might be for sale. I'm advised that it should be a maroon hinged box, used from the early 1920s until 1941 or so. The label should reflect that it's for a 4" .38 special M&P, square butt, nickeled.

Well, finally got the box for the 1957 Heavy Duty 4", but am still hanging in here to get an original box for this beautiful nickeled M&P 4" from 1939! For me, it's a special birth year gun, and I'd like to see it returned to an original box before I croak!
