Hey,
I have a 1948 one-line "Made in USA" K22 w/a 6" barrel I might give up. I'm in SW Ohio about 30 miles north of Cinci. Send me your Email address and I'll send you some pics.
I'm at [email protected]
Thanks,
Dan

I have a 17-3 if your interested k7999xx

I don't know what you consider desent, I'll try to describe what I see on the pistol as best as I can.

The cylinder is starting to get a turn line, it's not threw the blueing. There's no blueing wear in the cylinder stops. The button on the cylinder shows no wear & has it's blueing. Behind the thumblatch there is a small scratch starting to form. There must be a burr on the back of the thumblatch, I can't see the scratch with the cylinder closed and the tumblatch goes back to it's origional position and hides the scratch. There is a line starting to form on the back of the frame from the cylinder button, it's almost threw the blueing. That's all the blueing wear I can find. There's no blueing wear on the barrel, front of the cylinder, trigger gaurd or grip frame. The grips are numbered to the gun, they are clean dark honey colored with no dirt or discoloration to them. There's no lines, dings or scrapes in the checkering, the tips of the checkering are all sharp and even colored. The only thing I can see is 2 small pencil point marks in the bottom of the right grip. The only wear I can find on the trigger & hammer is a trace of wear on the left side of both of them.
All the screw heads are not marked up in any way, the slots are perfect with no blueing wear. The adjustment screws on the rear sight look like they've never been touched.
As far as what the gun came in: I only have the origin box numbered to the gun, the wax paper the gun came wraped in, the instruction/guarantee manual, the free nra literature card and the warranty card that was supposed to be filled out & sent back to smith & wesson. The box is starting to show some wear on the corners and on the silver outline of the lid.

If your interested, let me know at [email protected]. I'm not the greatest at taking pictures, but I'll send you what I can.
