I am looking to buy a 460 pistol with a 5" or so barrel. I don't know the exact length, but around 5". I live in Alaska and am looking for a better deal than what I am finding around here. Any places that have smoking deals?

I'd check here, thefiringline.com, thehighroad.org, and other classified sections. There are usually a fair number of S&W 460s and 500s for sale, as folks fire them a few times and decide that they're too much gun.

A word of caution on that .460: The noise and muzzle blast from that 5" barrel are going to be ferocious. It was meant to be shot with a longer barrel, at least from what I've read about it. I also read about an unfortunate fellow who lost a good portion of his hearing from one unprotected shot from one of these thunder sticks.
