I have shot it out of my 442. You will definitely recall the experience out of a lighter weapon. It is kind if like shooting full house .357s out of my 2" M60, doable, and one can do it enough to qualify with it, but not something you would want to do every day.
I fired 100 rounds out of my 442 over 2 days. 100 rounds is the minimum that I will use to consider myself "streetworthy" with any new ammo.
I am not sure that the ammo is any better than some other botique ammo for short barrels, and 110 gr is a little on the light side IMO for a 38 Special. It did do a number on milk jugs filled with water and barreled through some impressive plywood thicknesses, and it did expand, quite well.
I put some through my 3" M60 which helped shootability a lot, and through my 3" 64 it was almost docile. Of course after 300 rounds of the stuff I was broke for a month.
