This is why the model was only made one year. If was useable by only a small percentage of shooters. S&W switched the 6 round mag to a finger extension (and rubber grips) when they used it for the CS45, but the short mag was still on odd length. Too short for 3 fingers, too long for just 2.
Thanks for the explanation, Kurt. I never handled an example of this model and wasn't aware of the short grip issue.
