A friend keeps a Charter Arms Undercover in his nightstand drawer. He has never fired it and it looks like it had never been fired ever. He wanted to make sure it worked so asked me to take it to the range. He is not a gun guy. This little .38 shot pretty well. It shot about 4" to the left at 15 yards but put most of the shots into a bit larger than a fist size group. I would say that is good enough for a bad guy across the room. I would trust to to do the job as well as any other 5 shot .38.

I am going to get him out to shoot it himself. He is former military but he has not fired a gun in many years. I think he will enjoy it. I don't think he will turn into a guy though.
