Full lug Model 17s, or any Model 17, for that matter, are not described as Kit Guns. That term usually refers to .22s built on I- or J-frames.

My impression is that the demand for the full lug 17s seems to be increasing, and if you are not interested in the guns, you might post the contact info here and members would probably appreciate it. The price seems ordinary to me, but I am not in touch with the market.

I believe these guns were made with both steel and aluminum cylinders, and in 6- and 10-shot. I personally would not be interested in other than a steel cylinder in 6-shot, but everyone has their opinion on this topic. That is all I can think of that you might consider worth watching for.
