My favorite .38 Special target load is with a bullet cast from my H&G #251 mould:



This is a double ended wadcutter intended to be shot in the S&W Model 52. In the Model 52 - 3.0-3.2 grs of Bullseye works VERY well.

In my revolvers, I use the same bullet with the first band seated out, taper crimp on the trailing edge of the first band and use 3.5 grs of Bullseye. This is a superb load for NRA Bullseye and edible small game.
