Default Post your favorite 38 Special Recipes
Sgt Preston here. I use Berry's 158 grain SWC (flat point) copper plated swaged bullets. I load them with 4.0 grains of Win 231. I set the overall length to 1.450 & taper crimp them to .375 / .376 dia (at the end of the brass). I shoot them out of a Ruger GP100 x 6" Stainless Revolver & out of a new S&W 686 SSR.
