I started serious pistol shooting in the early 1950s with a High Standard Supermatic S-101, the kind with the two oblong ports on either side of the front sight. Traded it for a S&W 41 about 1959. Still have the 41, 4 digit SN. Finally found another one of the Supermatics, weights and all. That one's a keeper too.
