Yes, you're right. A good quality gun has not to cost that much and for protection use it should be more reliable than costumized and snug fitted, although Performance Center Guns have proven to be very tight AND reliable.

On the other hand, if you spend 2000 and more for a PC handgun, you expect the best, even if it was a monday pistol. And certainly you expect and probably get top notch customer service. The Name Performance Center has to be earned, isn't it?

Of course it's also a matter of what you (can) plan spending on guns!
Over all the years (i'm 45) i've accumulated a chunk of "not too expensive but good guns" and finally i now would put aside the money and buy one very good maybe each year, instead.

I'm still impressed with S&W PC handguns and others like the ones from LesBaer and (please forgive me this ...) it's a little bit like beautiful girls (or boys for some of you)! Most have their own charm, but some are really and allways standing out, awesome beautiful...
