Cardboard Packed CCI-SV:.......... I think that it’s the same as the 100 rd pack except for package costs. Some try to sell the idea that this package means seconds or made off-shore.
Mine is clearly marked made in USA has no indications of seconds or anything else. Further it seems to shoot the same. I say seems, since I lack a machine rest set-up on a 50 yard range to run a test. From a rest at my distances I can see nothing to indicate that they are different.

The red dot of course is on the reflective layer in the sight, so its all internal. It may be that the computer chip in the sight does not set it bright enough under your conditions. The Ultradot instructions mention provisions for manual rather than automatic turn-on, you could try that.
I don’t have enough experience with it under really bright light to know.
