Offer a suggestion if you want to leave a gun in your car. Over on the "Glockstore.com" website, there is a "Car lock box" advertised. You will need to search for it, but it has a steel cable which comes out of the steel box and loops around the frame of your car seat. The box will hold a Glock 23, probably most 4 inch autos. I have put my 686 2.5 inch snubby in it in the past. It then locks with a key. You can't get the box out once it's closed & locked -- possibly with a bolt cutter. The key lock is probably the weakest point if you took a hammer and punch to it. But its at least a suggestion. I don't particularly like the idea of leaving a gun in the car and not having it with you anyway. There are times :ex: going on school grounds, police stations, court houses when you can't carry.
