Default SOLD Colt New Service, .45 Long Colt

Hello everybody,

This is the 1909 version of the Colt New Service revolver, military issued sidearm. It has the lanyard ring and is stamped US ARMY on the butt and has what I think might have been the unit number it was issued to. Under the barrel is says United States Property. I believe that it had to have been manufactured between 1908 & 1916. It's obviously been refinished at some point but nicely done - the rollmarks are still crisp and there are no buffed out edges, everything still nice and sharp. It's not the tightest gun but it's not sloppy either. It shoots just fine, group about 1.5" at 12 yards. I've fired about 30 rounds of cowboy loads through it. Bore looks pretty fair. Hey, it's 100 years old! Nice piece of American Military History.

Asking $700.00 + $25 shipping to your FFL or FTF in central Florida.

The only trades I would consider are for a Ruger Super Redhawk in .454 Casull, 7.5" barrel or possibly a SRH in .480.

I can be reached at 813-763-0829

This is listed in other forums. First affirmative reply
will be considered the successful buyer.

Thanks!
