I have the most affection for my Remington 870 Magnum "Standard Deer Gun" (that's what it says on the box ) which I bought new in the late 80s. Much nicer than the 870 Express, which I suspect was designed to meet Wal-Mart's price demands. I own more valuable firearms then that old 870, but none can touch it for memories and practicality.
