I did something similar in a tractor trailer loaded with milk. The LEO said he had never heard a driver admit it was his own fault. Alway a story about a animal that jumped out or the phantom motorist that no one else saw. The whole nearby town turned up to help with the clean up. That is after it was known we were giving away the ice cream before it melted.
