Cylinder wall thickness
#1 65 lady Smith and 686 .41 spl slightly thinner
#2 686 .41 spl and 629 slightly thinner
#3 686 .41 spl and 625 slightly thicker
I shoot Buffalo Bore .45 super in my 625-3 .45acp saami 28,000 lbs with no problems, so I'm not too worried about the strength of my conversion. Mr clements said 1200 fps was possible safely, though probably not in my 3in.
