All I can add is I owned a 908S, changed the plastic guide rod to steel, fired it with no problems and enjoyed it. I say enjoyed it because like an idiot I traded it away. For CC it's an excellent choice. Oh, since you are new to auto's, it's called a magazine, not a clip. Enjoy.
