I would include revolvers, rifles, shotguns, semi-autos as long as it was marked with the state of origin. I posted this in the semi-auto forum because I figured the majority of the guns on the market would be semi-autos. Of course, I would include even the older Broderick Crawford vintage highway patrol weapons as my guess would be a lot of states don't mark their stuff anymore. Limiting it to the 50 states would necessitate collecting 50 guns, if you included cities, counties, local jurisdictions, etc. it would be cost prohibitive. As it is, just figure 50 states X $300 per gun (conservatively) and you are talking about a $15,000 undertaking to say the least. I might need to rethink this!!

P.S. I am looking for a PA State Police marked Beretta 96D with the Robar NP3 finish. If anyone knows of one or has one they would like to part with I would appreciate a heads up.
