I loved Kim Ahrends' 'Square Conversion Grips', both with and without fg's... until I tried his 'retro targets', that is. See them on my N-frame 627 Pro in cocobolo with the factory finish and on my 4" 617 K-frame where the 'retro targets', ordered in unfinished cocobolo, were finished here in a homebrew penetrating oil finish. Probably not a good candidate for a real kicker, they do feel quite good on my 625MG in .45 Colt.

And, finally, another K-frame - a 4" 64 - with rounded Hogues in goncalo alves and fg's compared to the retro targets on the 617.
