I have a 3" 36 which I've fitted with Uncle Mike's full length grips from Smith. Sounds a bit bulky but, believe me, the gun fits easily into a front pocket of my cargo pants without the slightest printing. The Uncle Mikes, btw, are supremely comfortable with any .38 special round. They're a bit longer than the traditional boot grip, meaning that I can wrap my pinkie finger around the grip. They cover the gun's entire backstrap, which means that they fill my hand nicely, and the rubber over the backstrap really cushions against recoil. Love the gun, love the grips.
