Just picked up my new CA model (10 shot limit mag), took it home, cleaned, slight oil and hauled off to the range. I took 6 different ammo brands that included 30 yr. old Federal Classic, new Federal bulk pack, Winchester, PMC and two brands of cheap Philippine ****. Also included were two kinds of hollow points.
In short, this fantastic gun ate them all without a burp in over 300 rounds. Medium rate fire and rapid fire showed no difference.
This gun has the blue spring with serial DTX 50xx. I am extremely pleased. Very easy to shoot. S&W told me they are working on an actual 10 shot mag. rather than the blocked 20 they now supply in the Democaratic Peoples Republic of California. I put in a back order for a few.
