I like the Dan Wessons. I got to shoot an 8" .357 Super Mag last month and it was nice. Not much recoil either.
I know this may get me banned, but I haven't seen Dirty Harry yet. I know, I know, you don't even have to say it. It is one of the top movies on my "must see" list. Speaking of .44 Mags, a friend of mine took his 7-1/2" 629 Performance Center to the range on Sunday. He has an Aimpoint red dot mounted on it and he said it's probably the most accurate handgun he's ever fired. He said the barrel ports must really do their job because it doesn't have any recoil, and he even let his 12 year old daughter shoot it. She now loves that gun!
