The problem is that a topic like this actually spans three forums. Also most of us have collections that fluctuate so there never is a full photographic record of what we have. I have several of my N-frames photographed but by no means are all of them done yet. I wish I had the time to photograph them all.
Here is the VERY first revolver that I ever bought new.
In fact it was the first firearm period that I had ever purchased new. It was back in the 70s. I still have this revolver today. This revolver started my love for the 27/327/627 family of revolvers.
I have bought a few more 27s since then.
Then in 1997 the 8 shot N-frames arrived.
Then came 2000 and the return of carbon steel model 27s in the new 8 shot configuration. So far there have been 6 variations produced. Below is one of each variation. All six revolvers in the set have the same serial number with different prefixes.
Then we get into the 57/357/657 family of 41 Magnums. I know this group photo has some non-S&Ws in it, sorry.
The wonderful model 25/625 family of revolvers.
How about a few 44 Magnums from the 29/629 family?
Or a few model 28s.
Then there is this really cute 10MM N-frame
what a great collection!! Colt SAA
